After reading this piece, I don’t see the connection with this piece with the rest of the hypertext that has been used in the class. There were no links that I found that lead to an outside source, i.e images, related links which could further enhance the story as a hypertext. Another noticeable difference is there is only one way to move through the story. Pressing Yes goes on to the next page, Pressing No simply goes back to the previous page. Therefore it was the same as reading a regular printed work for me. Again no choices are really presented. I also found it hard to follow the story. At some points, it is clear the narrative is divided by two. The narrator is walking through the woods describing the trees and scenery during one half. The other half the actions of seperate characters and their surroundings are described. For example, a house with lawn chairs and siding and other random objects were noted. I was unable to make a connection betweent the two halves. I would say the only the connection to hypertext is that the narrative is so random.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
