{"id":62,"date":"2005-09-22T02:41:37","date_gmt":"2005-09-22T06:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.samplereality.com\/gmu\/fall2005\/343\/?p=62"},"modified":"2005-09-22T03:30:29","modified_gmt":"2005-09-22T07:30:29","slug":"virtualy-conscious-streams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.samplereality.com\/gmu\/fall2005\/343\/2005\/09\/22\/virtualy-conscious-streams\/","title":{"rendered":"Virtualy Conscious Streams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;**<\/strong> Just a <strong>suggestion<\/strong> of something I ran across a while ago.&nbsp;It seemed relevant to mention an exhibit I had read about this August by Jane Cardiff.&nbsp; It is an audio tour drawn from her memories but involving the museam and sculpture garden.&nbsp; I was interested in going but have not made it yet so I do not know if it&#8217;s good or not.&nbsp; However, it seems interactive and whatnot so if anyone is interested it is <strong>wed-sun<\/strong> <strong>11:30 to 2:30<\/strong> ( though it was three good thing I didn&#8217;t show up) and it is at the <strong>Hirshorn.<\/strong> Check it out here is the link: <a href=\"http:\/\/hirshhorn.si.edu\/exhibitions\/description.asp?ID=20\">http:\/\/hirshhorn.si.edu\/exhibitions\/description.asp?ID=20<\/a>&nbsp;(for some reason the link button&nbsp;did not work)<strong>**<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;The several examples in Marie-Laure Ryan&#8217;s, <u>Narrative as virtual reality<\/u>, of textuality were a bit overwhelming at first. I kept re-reading the title, isn&#8217;t that what I just read?&nbsp; Seriously, I had no idea there were so many variations. &nbsp;I am never surprised these days.
